As a Community Minister my main area of work is alongside people who have lost their loved ones. I seek to help them record their love and thanksgiving for those they have lost.
I use my skills and expertise as a coach to compliment my Ministerial responsibilities. I look to motivate people to move forward after times of change and difficulties so gaining a fresh purpose and direction in their lives.
I have a wealth of experience in various aspects of community work. I have a confident and assured approach that is tailored to the specific requirements of individuals and families.
I worked in Birkenhead as an Assistant Minister, for one year, then for five years as a Minister of a church in Pensby on the Wirral and Ordained as Rev in 1982. I have had many wonderful experiences of ‘travelling’ with individuals and families both in and outside the church.
After university (87 – 90) I continued my Ministry part time and returned back to my trade as a Heating Engineer. I then worked in a supported housing project in Bury before taking up my current full time position as a Community Minister in Greater Manchester from 2007.
I consider it a real privilege to be involved in so many peoples lives working to make a difference in all their varied life situations.

There seems to me to be a contradiction between your endorsement of the Scriptures as a ‘rule of life’ and the practice of the church which you attend. How do you justify this?
